This year’s featured artist is Kent Ullberg, sculptor of the signature monument that graces the entrance of the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum. This bronze "Sword Dance" is a smaller version of Ullberg’s tribute to the magnificence of big game fishing and the IGFA.  Standing at 26" x 13" x 6", this magnificent piece is a collector's item.

Also known throughout the sport fishing world as the Kona Billfish Tournament, this donation offers anglers five glorious days of fishing off the Kona Coast.  Every year, the world’s top teams have “gone fishing” in search of a prized Pacific blue marlin and their chance of capturing the HIBT’s prestigious Governor’s Trophy.  This tournament is built on prestige, trophies and strict IGFA rules for big game fish world records.  Kona holds the IGFA records for Pacific blue marlin on 30, 50 and 130 lb test line.  Marlin granders are year-round residents.  This item is a first-time entry for a team of four anglers to fish the 53rd Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament in Kona, Hawaii August 12 -18, 2012.  It includes tickets to all social events and parties, angler bag filled with shirts, pins, patches and more!  Boat, crew and tackle are available for an additional cost.  Charter boat fees will be approximately $5500 for five days of fishing aboard Kona’s finest sport fishing fleet.  Prices, however, may vary depending on fuel costs.  From the fun-filled Opening Day Parade down the main street of Kailua-Kona, to the exciting final awards ceremony, it’s an unforgettable week of fun and fishing excitement.  The HIBT has not forgotten about family members and fish widows traveling to Kona!  There is excellent shopping and many activities to keep the entire family busy.  There are a range of accommodations along the Kona and Kohala Coast, from three-star all the way to the most luxurious five-star hotels and resorts.  Winner must register with HIBT by February 15, 2012.  More than 90% of the Pacific blue marlin are tagged and released and awarded points from a schedule.  Any captured fish is donated to a non-profit and consumed.  Donated by the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament, courtesy of IGFA Trustee Peter Fithian.  www.hibtfishing.com

Fish Bisbee’s Los Cabos Tournament aboard The New Titan 75’ Sportfisher! Fish out of Marina San Sebastian, La Gomera aboard Bocinegro, a custom Bertram 375, skippered by Captain Jason Pipe. Team Bocinegro targets blue marlin and fish in the lee of the island and only five minutes from the marina. In these flat calm waters you will also find world record bigeye, albacore, yellowfin, spearfish and white marlin. They are sponsored by Shimano, Black Bart and Legend Lures; therefore they have the latest in rods, reels and tackle. They are Lowrance prostaff, so Bocinegro is rigged with all the latest Lowrance electronic equipment, helping them track down our target species.  This trip is for three days of fishing for up to four anglers. Two people will enjoy a six-night/five-day fishing trip aboard the charming and luxurious mothership Kalua in Brazil.  This all-inclusive fishing vacation begins on a Friday.
